Designed to insure restaurant employees receive a reasonable amount of food safety education. Affects all employees that prepare, serve or store food. Affected persons must obtain their food handler card by July 1, 2011.

This legislation was enacted in California to prevent entrapment hazards in public pools and spas. It brings California in compliance with federal safety standards stipulated in the Virginia Graeme Baker Pool and Spa Safety Act.
