Poll Workers

We are always looking for registered voters who are willing to be poll workers on Election Day. What a great opportunity to serve your community!
 
The primary mission or role of the poll worker is to assist every qualified voter to cast a ballot and to ensure that each ballot is safely secured until it can be counted. Poll workers are a critical part of the entire election process. The election’s office could not conduct an election without them.

In order to be a poll worker you must be:

  • A United States Citizen
  • A resident of Inyo County
  • At least 18 years old at the time of the next Elections, County of Inyo
  • A registered voter in Inyo County
  • Not in prison or on parole for a felony
