The Inyo County Sheriff is designated by the Inyo County Board of Supervisors to coordinate Emergency Services for the county. Our responsibility is to protect, respond and educate the public before and during a natural or man-made disaster. Our staff is specially trained to respond to these disasters and provide assistance where needed. In addition our staff maintains many grants associated with emergency services. Our Public Information Officer provides information to keep the public informed of operations of the Sheriffs Department and at a time of a disaster or emergency to provide the public with needed information concerning the incident. We are dedicated to your safety and wellbeing.
