Clarifying Questions: Revised Scope

What is the schedule of implementation of the EMPs (June 2009) for Independence and Lone Pine, i.e. will the four new monitoring wells be completed prior to the contract period? The timing of these well installations will affect the timing and cost of Tasks 1 and 8.

There is no definitive installation schedule in the EMP's. It is assumed that the wells will be installed after the approval of the plan(s) by the Water Board. For the purpose of the Proposal assume that the wells will be installed by June, 2010.

When will the new gas probes be installed at Bishop-Sunland landfill (as proposed in August 2009 gas monitoring plan, due April 2010), as the proposed actions will affect gas monitoring costs once completed.

For the purpose of the Proposal assume that the installation date will be April, 2010.

Based on our review of previous contract(s), draft 5-year permit review documents were recently provided to BLM for Tecopa and Shoshone landfills. Please provide these documents to clarify the scope of the PCPCMP updates for these two facilities.

The PCPCMP plans were originally prepared in 1999 and are available in hard copy only at the Waste Management May Street office in Bishop. It is anticipated that the consultant will review the current plans and prepare updated versions complying with the current regulations and provide electronic copies.

For the Keeler facility, please provide the current FCPMP (Revision 2 dated March 2004).
