Annual Meeting and Membership Dinner
The Friends of the Eastern California Museum is a nonprofit public benefit corporation which was officially organized on December 1, 1985. Currently, the Board of Trustees has four (4) Officers, eight (8) Trustees, and one (1) Past-Chairman.
"The specific purpose for which this corporation is organized are to function for the advancement of education and other charitable purposes, by the distribution of its funds for such purposes amd particularly to work with the Eastern California Museum...in the restoration of historical artifacts to aid in increasing the Eastern California Museum's value as a public educational facility with emphasis on heritage." Article Two, FECM Articles of Incorporatio.
Contributions to FECM are used to improve the Museum facilities and exhibits, to assist the Museum in achieving long-term financial stability, and to sponsor educational programs that encourage public awareness of Inyo County's rich and diverse heritage
Membership to the Friends of the Eastern California Museum (FECM) is open to anyone who is interested in supporting the cause of preserving the natural and cultural history of the Owens Valley and Inyo County.
Your contribution goes toward projects and sponsorships which help with the Museum's exhibits, facilities and educational programs that encourage public awareness for the rich cultural heritage of Inyo County.
One of the many achievements of the FECM is the Frank M. Parcher Memorial Library which has been a consistent source for researchers, authors and hobbyists alike, and holds a valuable covey of resource materials. Your membership and support go a long way and is certainly appreciated.

The Founder's Patio is an ongoing fund-raising project, the proceeds of which go to the FECM Building Fund, established for the goal of Museum building expansion and exhibit support.
Each paving stone is 8"x8" and will contain an inscription of your choice: (5 lines of text with 16 characters per line. Spaces also count as characters.) There are four stones and four prices.

The Eastern California Museum has a very unique and diverse collection reflecting the Native American heritage of the Owens Valley and Inyo County: Paiute and Shoshone basketry, Owens Valley Brownware Pottery, beadwork, rabbit-skin blankets, arrowheads and various archaeological materials.
The Owens Valley Native American Artifacts Fund has been created to improve and expand the exhibits that display and interpret this special selection.
A donor has already pledged $50,000 toward this cause, in honor of the "O.K. Kelley and Anna Kelley Gallery of Native American Life.”
