Family Prevention Resources
Family Calendar Inyo families with children ranging from ages 6 to 18 will find resources on this page, including the link at the left to the Inyo Family Events Calendar,
where we post activities, events, and resources for families with children of all ages.
Currently Inyo Family Prevention is offering 2 new pilot parenting classes: Kid University for parents of primary aged children 6 to 12 and Teen University for parents of older youths 13 to 18. We are also working to develop some parent & child playgroup resources that reinforce positive communication and self control skills in a easy going playful environment. If this sounds interesting to you, call 760-873-6453 and ask about Family Summer Fun.
Contact April Eagan at 760-873-4159 to learn more about all these offerings, or to register for the next session of Kid or Teen University in your region of the county. The first session of Kid University wrapped up May 28, and Tuesday evenings from 5:30-6:30 PM at our 568 W.Line Street office parents of teens ages 13 to 18 are welcome ot join in the Teen Parenting discussion we're hosting all summer long! (With the exception of Tuesday July 2nd -- no class this week due to the holiday!)
