County, Developer Break Ground on Consolidated Office Building

From left, Chairperson Matt Kingsley, Jim Leslie of Wolverine Interests, Supervisor Rick Pucci, Supervisor Totheroh, and Vice Chairperson Jeff Griffiths officially break ground Friday, March 6 on the County of Inyo Consolidated Office Building at 1360 N. Main St., Bishop. Wolverine Interests is the developer of the project and from whom the County will lease the building over a 20-year term before owning it outright. The building will house approximately 16 departments currently spread out over the City of Bishop at 8 different sites that the County leases. County offices or departments that are currently based in Independence and Lone Pine are not being relocating to the new facility, and will remain in Southern Inyo.
