County Budget & Analysis

Inyo County is required by the State of California to balance its budget every year. This requires balancing incoming revenue (from property taxes, sales and other taxes, federal and state monies, fees and other funds) with outgoing expenses. The County Budget Team, which consists of the County Administrative Officer, Auditor-Controller and the Assistant Director of Budget and General Services, prepares a Recommended Budget for the Board of Supervisors to review and approve.
