The Inyo County Public Health Immunization Program works to reduce vaccine-preventable diseases by improving vaccine coverage, conducting disease investigations/control, and by providing education, community collaboration, assessment, and Immunization Registry services.
Free Immunizations for Everyone:
- Influenza (6 months and older) - October to June
- Primary COVID-19 Series:
Pfizer and Moderna (6 months and older)
- Bivalent COVID-19 booster:
Pfizer (5+ years old) and Moderna (6+ years old)
Childhood Vaccines (no-cost, if eligible for the VFC program):
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
- Hep A
- Hep B
- Varicella (chicken pox)
- Adult Hep B (20+ years old)
- Tdap (10 to 64 years old) - available with Health Officer consult if patient is 6-9 years old or over the age of 64.
Public Health Community Clinics:
Throughout the year off-site or "pop-up" community clinics are schedule at locations across the county to help community members access vaccines. These clinics are scheduled as-needed or upon request.
Every October - Flu Clinics are scheduled in:
Bishop, Lone Pine, Olancha, Independence, Big Pine, Furnace Creek, Shoshone, and Tecopa.
Homebound Vaccine Requests:
Vaccines are available for Homebound individuals, as staffing and vaccine availability allows.
Please Contact the Public Health Clinic to request a homebound vaccine appointment.

NIHD - Pediatric Clinic
The NIHD - Pediatric Clinic is offering COVID-19 vaccines at no-cost once per month out of the clinic lobby for children and teenagers under the age of 18.
(NO adult vaccines or booster doses at this time)
