Vaccination Services & Seasonal Flu Clinics

The Inyo County Public Health Immunization Program works to reduce vaccine-preventable diseases by improving vaccine coverage, conducting disease investigations/control, and by providing education, community collaboration, assessment, and Immunization Registry services.

Free Immunizations for Everyone:

  • Influenza (6 months and older) - October to June

Adult Vaccines (>18 years old):
must be eligible for the VFA/BAP program (Uninsured or Underinsured)

Childhood Vaccines (<18 years old):
must be eligible for the VFC program (Medi-Cal Eligible, Uninsured, or American Indian or Alaskan Native)

  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
  • Hep A
  • Hep B
  • DTaP
  • Tdap
  • Polio
  • Varicella 
  • HPV
  • Meningococcal
  • Coming Fall 2024-Winter 2025: RSV

Immunizations At-Cost:

  • Adult Hep B (20+ years old)
  • Tdap (10 to 64 years old) - available with Health Officer consult if patient is 6-9 years old or over the age of 64.
  • RSV (60 years and older)

Flu vaccination can help keep your family from getting sick with flu and can reduce the risk of potentially serious flu complications for people with certain chronic health conditions.

Public Health Community Clinics:

Throughout the year off-site or "pop-up" community clinics are schedule at locations across the county to help community members access vaccines. These clinics are scheduled as-needed or upon request.

Every October - Flu Clinics are scheduled in:
Bishop, Big Pine, Independence, Lone Pine, Olancha, Furnace Creek, Shoshone, and Tecopa.


 Homebound VaccinesHomebound Vaccine Requests:

Vaccines are available for Homebound individuals, as staffing and vaccine availability allows. 

Please Contact the Public Health Clinic to request a homebound vaccine appointment.

Inyo County Public Health clinic is currently not able to provide any COVID-19 vaccines. If you would like to receive this vaccine please call your primary care provider or local pharmacy for COVID-19 vaccination services.
