Search and Rescue
Thank you for your interest in the Inyo County Search and Rescue (SAR) team. Inyo SAR is a non-profit corporation created in 1952. The Inyo SAR team works in cooperation with and under the authority of the Inyo County Sheriff’s Department. We hold meetings at the Sheriff’s Emergency Operations Center on Airport Road in Bishop. Meetings are the first Thursday of every month at 7pm – if you’re interested in joining Inyo SAR, please stop by! For more information, check out the Inyo SAR website at http://inyosar.com.
