Diaz Lake Campground
DIAZ LAKE CAMPGROUND
CAUTION -- A STRONG ALGAE BLOOM IS CURRENTLY OCCURRING AT DIAZ LAKE. IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED THAT EVERYONE INCLUDING PETS AND CHILDREN EXERCISE CAUTION WHEN ENGAGING IN “WATER” ACTIVITIES “SUCH AS FISHING, BOATING, SWIMMING, ETC”.
CAMPFIRES ARE CURRENTLY ALLOWED IN THE FIRE RINGS

First come, first served sites are also available.
Location
Three miles south of Lone Pine, CA on U.S. 395.
Amenities
Swimming, fishing, water skiing, picnicking, boating, grills, fire rings, tables, vault toilets, play equipment. 100 spaces, 80-acre lake. Camping spaces are available for large RV's. No shower facilities within the campground. No hook-ups. Limited water spigots are available throughout the campground.
ATV riding is NOT allowed inside the campground. ATV trails are located out the back gate of the campground.
Six people allowed per site.
Sites 44, 45 and 46 are group sites that accommodate 15 people. $35 per night.
Automated Pay Stations accept credit cards and cash
$14 per site/vehicle per night
Additional vehicle: $5.00 per night
$10 Daily Rate for Motorized Watercraft
NOTICE:
ALL MOTORIZED WATERCRAFT RECREATING ON DIAZ LAKE WILL BE SUBJECT TO INSPECTION FOR THE QUAGGA MUSSEL PRIOR TO LAUNCHING.
Diaz Lake is open to motorized watercraft from May 15 - Oct 31. Limited to 25 watercrafts per day, 20 first come for serve and 5 spaces available for reservation. To reserve please call 760-878-8457.
Diaz Lake will allow motorized watercraft the first Saturday in March for the Early Opener Fish Derby. For information on the Fishing Derby contact Lone Pine Chamber 760-876-4444.

Thurs-Mon 8:00 am - 6:00 pm
Tues & Wed 8:00 am - 2:00 pm
Open year round for kayaks, canoes and non-motorized watercraft.
Shore fishing is allowed at Diaz Lake all year. California Fishing license is required for 16 years old and older.
ADA fishing deck located near the boat launch ramp.
