The Inyo County Treasury Operations provides financial services for the Inyo County Treasury Pool, which includes County Departments, all Inyo County School Districts, the Office of Education, over 30 Special Districts within Inyo County, and several Greater Los Angeles Charter Schools through the Inyo County Office of Education.

These services encompass payroll transmissions, payroll taxes, accounts payable, and various banking services.  We serve as the depository for all funds received by the participants in the Pool.  The County Treasurer also acts as the Investment Officer for the funds held in the treasury.  The Treasurer is responsible for ensuring the safety, liquidity, and yield of these investments.

In the 2024-2025 fiscal year, the average balance of the Inyo County Treasury was $233 million.  During that same period, we processed over $500 million in payables and receivables.
