A friendly reminder from the Inyo County Treasurer-Tax Collector, Christie Martindale, that the 2nd installment of the 2025-26 Secured property taxes is due on Feb. 1st, 2026, your payment will be delinquent if not paid on or before April 10, 2026, this office will accept a postmark only of April 10, 2026, as a timely payment. Payments presented after April 10, 2026, must include the penalties or they will be rejected. Please be advised to exercise caution when using Online Bill Pay/Home Banking to pay Property Taxes. These checks do not get Postmarked and are not always forwarded in a timely manner by your bank. Because of this, if the payment arrives at our office after the delinquent date, the 10% Penalty amount and applicable cost will be applied to your account.
