City Of Bishop Operational Changes
Bishop City Hall – New Business Hours Bishop, California August 10, 2020 – City Administrator Ron Phillips announced that due to the surge in positive COVID-19 cases and the start of a “virtual” school year, some City employees will be working from home more in the near future. As a result, and to provide adequate coverage at our City offices, City Hall will be closed to the public from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 p.m., and will be closed to the public on Fridays. At those times, the public may have access to City Hall by appointment only. Chambers of Commerce Support Local Businesses
The order by the State of California to close “non-essential businesses,” limit restaurants to take-out and delivery only and implement a “stay at home” order for state residents has had a dramatic impact on local businesses in Inyo County.
Information on which businesses are offering online shopping, restaurants and bakeries offering delivery and take-out is being compiled by the Bishop Chamber of Commerce and Visitor’s Bureau and the Lone Pine Chamber of Commerce.
