INYO COUNTY MOVES BEYOND THE BLUEPRINT

INYO COUNTY, CA, June 14, 2021 – Effective Tuesday June 15, 2021 Inyo County in concert with the state of California will be moving Beyond the Blueprint for a Safer Economy.Businesses are able to open without capacity limits, with limited exceptions for Mega Events which include 5,000+ people indoors or 10,000+ outdoors.

All individuals must continue to follow the requirements in the Guidance for the Use of Face Coverings issued by the California Department of Public Health.

Fully Vaccinated Individuals – Masks are not required for fully vaccinated individuals, except in the following settings where masks are required for everyone regardless of vaccination status:

• On public transit (ex: airplanes, buses, trains, shared rides)
• Indoors in K-12 schools, childcare, and other youth settings
• Healthcare settings, including long term care facilities
• State and local correctional facilities and detention centers
• Shelters: homeless shelters, emergency shelters, and cooling centers

Unvaccinated Individuals– Masks are required for unvaccinated individuals in indoor public settings and businesses (ex: retail, restaurants, theaters, meetings, state and local government offices serving the public).

Employers are subject to the Cal/OSHA COVID-19 Prevention Emergency Temporary Standards (ETS), if applicable to them.

COVID-19 vaccination is effective in preventing community spread. Unvaccinated persons are more likely to get infected and spread the virus. For vaccination information contact your primary healthcare provider or make an appointment by visiting MyTurn.ca.gov.

The County will continue to provide vaccine and COVID-19 related information as an opt-in/opt-out email option managed by Public Health and sent in both English and Spanish.  The sign-up form is available at the Inyo County Vaccine Information webpage.
