Redistricting

Every 10 years, following the completion of the US Census, California's 58 counties are required to review and adjust the lines dividing their supervisorial districts to ensure that the population within each district remains approximately equal and that the districts are compliant with various state and federal laws.  This process is known as redistricting.  Inyo County is currently engaged in redistricting following the 2020 Census. Here, you will find a variety of information about the redistricting process, including notices of hearings related to redistricting, channels for you to get involved in the process, and draft maps of proposed district lines.  Check back often, as this page is frequently updated.
