Board Committee Assignments

In addition to faithfully serving their constituents as members of the Board of Supervisors, the Supervisors also serve the people of Inyo County, the Eastern Sierra, and the public-at-large through membership on a variety of local, regional, state, and national committees, subcommittees, commissions and boards of directors for organizations and other agencies large and small. These committees run the gamut from the Eastern Sierra Council of Governments Board of Directors, to the Inyo County Local Transportation Commission and Inyo-L.A. Standing Committee, to the Rural County Representatives of California and National Association of Counties.

Appointments to these various committees are made in January every year through a vote of the Board, based on nominations from the new Chairperson.
