The Department of Health and Human Services - Behavioral Health Division provides mental health and substance abuse services to residents within the County of Inyo. The programs within our division focus on delivering the highest quality of service.

24 hour Medi-Cal Fraud Reporting

Inyo County Health & Human Services- Behavioral Health (ICHHS-BH) asks that anyone suspecting Medi-Cal fraud, waste, or abuse to call our Medi-Cal Fraud line at 760-872-3273 or email. You may report fraud 24 hours a day. The call is free and the caller may remain anonymous.

Presumptive Transfer

Presumptive Transfer is the prompt transfer of the responsibility for providing and paying for specialty mental health services for children and youth in foster care who are placed outside of the county in which they came into care.
